John Tafel - Historic Holmesburg Presentation 

Due to several winter weather that is expected in the Philadelphia area on Saturday night (2/21), the Holmesburg Baptist Church has moved their Dessert night to Saturday, February 28th at 6PM.

On Saturday, February 28, 2015, the Holmesburg Baptist Church is having a Family Dessert night starting at 6PM. As part of the evening festivities, they will be replaying a presentation by the late John Tafel on Historic Holmesburg. Although John left us several years ago, his memory and work still thrives within his church, family, and community. John was part of the Holmesburg Historic Society. What a joy to see John's knowledge and the history of Holmesburg being shared with a new generation of the community.
