Ginger Mary Ruth Tafel - 1930-2018

It is with a heavy heart that we report the passing of Ginger Tafel. Ginger joined the Tafel family on September 26, 1981 when she married Ted Tafel. They were married for 34 years. Together they set out to enjoy many aspects of life. Ginger and Ted shared a love for traveling, golfing, and family. They were regular attendees at many of the Tafel family reunions. Their love for traveling took them on over 100 trips and 140 countries.

Ginger was blessed with four children: John M. Allan and his wife Kelly; Betsy and her husband Andy Puthon with their two daughters Aimee and Alexandra; Kathy and her husband Patrick Ford with their daughters Gwynne and Maeve; and Bill Allan and his late wife Suzi Chick with their two daughters Abigail and Katie. Ted, who passed in 2105, is survived by his three children: Lisa and her husband Maarten Ringelberg with their three daughters Marlisa, Kalli and Steffi; Carl; and Tedi-Ann.

We will all miss Ginger's smile and zest for life.
