We are saddened to report the death of Anna Louise Tafel Liebert on April 7, 2007, at the age of 102.  Anna was the last living descendant of Louis Hermann Tafel of her generation. It was a generation that spanned a remarkable 134 years, from the birth of Louis Hermann’s first son, Louis Leonard Tafel, born in 1873, to the death of Anna in 2007.

Anna’s cheerful, warm smile and sparkling personality added charm to all of our lives.  We will miss her.
