Cousins meet in Mount Airy Pennsylvania

Walt Disney was right - 'It's a small world after all'. When can you go to a local cafe and run into relatives that share the same great grandparents.

Last October, while Beth Tafel Shuster was at a neighborhood cafe, she looked twice at a seemingly familiar face.  Beth thought she recognized Kara as a cousin she had once met a few years back, took the chance and introduced herself.  Kara Johns Tennis was having a get together with her sisters, her daughter and her niece at the cafe.  After Kara introduced them all to Beth, an impromptu Tafel mini-reunion was held on the spot!

In the picture from the left are: Dee Smith-Johns, Kara Johns Tennis, Sherry Holland, Beth Tafel Shuster, Kaia Merrell (Judy's daughter), Judy Merrell, Anna Tennis (Kara's daughter). 

Beth Tafel Shuster is the daughter of John F Tafel, and granddaughter of Leonard Tafel.
Dee, Kara, Sherry and Judy are daughters of Beth Synnestvedt Johns & Hyland Johns, and granddaughters of Gertrude Tafel Synnestvedt.

Since Leonard Tafel and Gertrude Tafel Synnestvedt were brother and sister, Beth Tafel Shuster met her second cousins Dee, Kara, Sherry and Judy All are great-granddaughters of Anna Louise & Louis Hermann Tafel.  Wouldn't they be amazed?
